I’m thrilled to showcase the work of STUDIO LIFE/STYLE, located in West Hollywood, CA for this month’s Designer Spotlight. At the helm of this multifaceted commercial and residential design firm is Shannon Wollack, Founder and Partner, and Brittany Zwickl, Partner and Principal Designer. Together Shannon and Brittany have created beautifully curated spaces ranging in size and style to meet specific needs of each client. The talented design team at STUDIO LIFE/STYLE excels at creating contemporary luxury through their refined aesthetic, perfectly balanced with welcoming comfort and functionality.

I reached out to STUDIO LIFE/STYLE immediately after coming across their work on Instagram and soon was commissioned to create a Canvas With Movement® tapestry for the bunk room in their Madison Club Villas residential project. I’m sure you have seen images of this project floating around Pinterest or even on popular sites like this Bobby Berk feature. It is one of the most stunning projects I have created artwork for and am thrilled to share images below.

When asked about their approach to their work: “We take a holistic approach to each project, immersing ourselves completely and aiming to bring authenticity to the space. We listen to our clients and become their advocates within the design process. Helping to craft environments that suit their lifestyle while remaining luxurious, livable, and above all else, personal. Our relationships with artisans and craftsmen play a primary role in the development of each project. We believe in spaces with a unique identity and a blended mix of natural materials, textures and patterns.

For the Madison Club Villas project, STUDIO LIFE/STYLE included lighting from CUFF Studio, one of my favorite product lines, in the great room. The rope wrapped GEM light pendant is so beautiful hanging in front of the two story plaster fireplace (see image above).

The arched doorways, large windows, thoughtful material selections and textile choices continue to take my breath away in this project. The firm has created a shop on their website which allows you to purchase items used in their projects. I have found this a very helpful resource when shopping for items in my own home!
